some ebay items can actually give you the look that you wanted...don't always rule out ebay just because h-t people say to do so

ok i'll agree partly with the ebay comment.. but have YOU ever compared them to the "real ****" .... its not a ridiculous difference, have you ever owned hid? or are you assuming all of this based on what you've read on honda-tech. hid is so much better than oe headlights or even the blue 'hybrid / raybrig' found at any accessory shop blue headlights out there.. i'd never go back to anything but hid on any car.

I dont have HID kits but I have seen plenty of honda retrofits and HID kits to know it looks like **** coming out of a civic. People think you can put a projector inside the civic chrome headlight housing and it wont cause glare. Ends up looking like watery diahrrea tossed into an industrial size fan set on the highest level.
Its easier to do on Integras but Civics don't accept HID too easily.
