if you are just talking about the kits that are bulbs with ballasts and hookups, it will look like your stock lights, but the color, and brightness of a HID.

still reflected out, to get a projector look like a BMW, good luck...make one yourself.

if you go to ardperformance.com they got HID setups for 460 and then I was just thinking of getting some projector headlights.

i was gonna do the same thing but decided not to. even though the HIDs look great, im not sure i want to risk screwing up the JDMs, that would be a $250 mistake i cant arrord.

HERE'S my HIDs compared to the stock bulbs. I got the hid kit from ebay for $250, its some generic brand that's made in korea. They work pretty well, it's rated at 8000K color temp but looks more like 6000K. I've been using it for 2 months now with no problems.

My husband bought the HID for his 5th gen lude and the quality was good as long as you know to adjust the brightness. Sadly, the lude is gone now.

I have the jdm headlights and just bought a couple silverstar bulbs. The 4th gen low beams are h4's (I believe) not the ones that everybody is having a problem with. They visibility improved much over the stock bulbs and I can actually see now. Together with the stock high beams they light up everything.

I have had em for about a month now, no problems. I would suggest these as a nice alternative to an hid set...also doesnt cost as much and takes about 2min to swap.

What kind of BMW projectors are you using? Is there a better projector to go with compared to the others or are they all the same?

there is a guy on HIDPLANET.com who does it for like 700-750 to do a retrofit. And that is with OEM parts from S2000. Probably best/sharpest/coloration out there. All you do is send him ur lights and he will retrofit the s2000 projectors for you. And sends back the finished headlights wiht bulbs and ballast. All u need to do is hook up everything and ur done. He does such amazing job for a kid that is 19 years old i believe. He lives in San Francisco. He did my friends camero SS and it looks hella nioce. He posted pics of his past work and i got to say...he dont micky mouse his stuff.

With my lights, I'm using xenon projectors for a 325i BMW series, but with most of the retrofits that I do, I use the bi-xenon projectors which give out a little more light out put and can be used as a high beam as well
