Read much? The "Maintenance Required" is a reminder only, triggered by mileage. There are no "codes".

Maybe you are new to computers?

Use your mouse to put your cursor (the arrow) over the website address above (the thing that starts with http://). It should change to a pointing finger. Then click the left mouse button. This will make your browser show you the previous topic here on honda-tech. READ IT. It will answer your question.

If you are sitting in the car put your arm lying face up on your right knee and follow that line to right under the dash/steering wheel. you will feel a square button there that is the button to reset it.

Mine went off recently and I looked in my manual, it goes off every 7500 miles IIRC. If your car doesn't need any service, just reset it.

Ok, let me get this straight - you swapped the new motor in, but can't determine on your own how to 'solve' this maintenance light problem? Perhaps that's why you had to swap out the original motor - no maintenance

Many of the answers posted here were to the point, and rather courteous. I think you should reconsider looking at the manual you used for your swap rather than pointing fingers. Try saying 'Thank You' to those who helped.

A newbie comes on the forum, asks a question, gets answers, but talks ****.

There's a simple solution to all of this -- get the **** out.

<-- doesn't even have an R

By the way, isn't this in the owner's manual?

I don't know about the R since I don't own one, but for my TL-S, it's in the owner's manual.

He's too cool for the owner's manual, probably.

You're the one who started it, "fucktard". You're the one who was complaining AFTER people told you where you could find the answer to your question. People WERE answering your question and helping you. And for that, YOU started calling them "dorks" and talking crap.

If you don't like to see people talking crap, then why did YOU start talking crap yourself? And you're STILL talking crap, calling people "fucktards".

What an *******...
