when i turn on my car. my car's maint. requ. light comes on. then it blinks 10 times. wat does that mean? wats wrong with my car. i have been burning oil also. wats the problem?

 

I don't know what this means, maybe you should try using the search funciton that is included free of charge with this site!

 

The maintanence light indicates that it's time for regular maintenance (change fluids, for example). It's just a reminder light that comes on after a certain number of miles. You can turn it off by locating the reset button under the dash on the driver's side. Hold it in until the light blinks once - all set!

 

maybe u should stop acting like a smartass free of charge in life...

 

if you do your own service, you can ignore this light--it's just a reminder. to turn it off, locate the blue button underneath the dash--it's above where the driver's right shin would be. hold that button down for a couple of seconds and that should reset the light.
