Default arp head studs stock in block

my arp head studs are stuck in my block. I tried double nutting them, **** even triple nutting them. Little success, i got one of them out.

Why are they stuck? I tightened them down to 12 ft-lbs when I installed them

any help?

This might be why its says in the instructions to only do them finger tight. Did in mine anyway. Get a pair of big grips on the middle part of the stud. ake sure to clean them up well before you reinstall them.

Tap lightly down on the ends with a wooden or rubber mallet. Usually does the trick for me.

Not if your care full put some thin rubber around the shaft and grip on that. Try tapping directly on the top like already said as you put pressure on the grips.

12 ft/lbs is basically hand tight

Are you sure you didnt cross thread every one lol?

If there is still any of the center unthreaded section showing that easily how you get it out, just wrap the stud in a thin cloth so you dont "teeth" it all up
