Has anybody ever heard of an electric supercharger? And if so does it work or is it like im thinking, just another gemick? let me know, maybe ill be surprised

The electric supercharger is bullshit. They even go so far as to cause vacuum at high end and rob HP by disrupting airflow. Think about it: if those could do the job of $2000 turbo kits, would said kits still be in use?

 

just a scam just like the tornado.

 

i think i read this on SHO where a b16 had it, the fan broke off and spun itself into little pieces of debris which were then sucked right into the IM and well...i think you know the rest then...8)

http://www.homemadeturbo.com did a review on it, which is ehere I got my info. They said the only real use for it was to play baseball with.
