"Search noob" or anything of that nature is now an automatic % deduction. Not only is it annoying and pointless, but it is against the TOS as it falls under post whoring. Either provide a link, or some kind of useful information or we're going to dock % points.
Thanks for playing.

Oh well, flaming is still ok right? </TD></TR></TABLE>
I would like to know this. I'm glad to see this rule come up though. It will definetly (if enforced for more than a week) keep this forum in check.

Yes. As long as there is some useful information in your post, its fine.

It will be. I've said it now and don't want to hear any crying when I keep docking points for it.

agreed, since i first registered here i felt that way.
in addition there are topics that return many threads when searched BUT there have been new products brought to market or better techniques brought up since the thread was last posted in. a lot of H-T'ers don't want to hear that though...

Actually you should search. You just can no longer be called a newbie for not doing so in the first place.
Good Luck

When I first registered here, I learned quickly enough after reading about 2.4 total threads that people suggested the search. It was ALSO in the forum guidelines. When I had a question, I searched, most of the time it was answered. For those times I couldnt find a 100% sure answer in the search, THEN I would post. If I didnt find it so difficult to comprehend, I cant imagine why others would find it so hard.

i agree with this but if a new person comes in here and asks "should i go b-series or d-series turbo" or "what are the cheapest/best mods for my civic" they should be docked points, its just rediculous, i think maybe for the trial period new members shouldnt be able to make new topics, and then they will learn to use the search button, but thats my opinion...

I definetly agree, I mean if it is such a common question they should be docked for being stupid.

Its ok to flame them/tell them to search, as long as we provide them with a link(s) to information that they need/want.
