Default gsr block with b16a head

I have the chance to get my hands on a complete gsr block, without pistons, and rods.I was told that a b16a head, supposedly, flows better than a gsr head. I was also told that if I did this it would not have a very high compression. I do realize with the b16a head it won't be able to rev as high as a gsr head. Now, I just want to know what kind of input you guys have. Also, if anybody knows, what pistons and rods would you recomend; that are in a decent price range and would up the compression a little bit. thanks for the help!

get type-r cams and pistons, they have them for a good price and those pistions have the highest compression for it being stock. And you still get to call your car stock, when you whopp a cars ***.

ok here it is gsr block type-r pistons or b16b or gsr pistons with your b16 head ported and polished and you'll be pushing like 220 to the wheels

It's definitely not that easy.. LOL

And a POOR MAN's TYPE R is a GS-R Block with A b16a/2/3 or type r head, not just a type r head.
