Cuts in my Turbo manifold!???! <--- uber confused.

Yeah i've seen manifolds like that before. To take the stress off to aid in crack prevention, or it might have warped when he did the welding...

haven't you ever looked at the half million pics of turbo manifolds on H-T/hmt? If i was going to spend a couple hundred bucks I would sure as hell do some research.
I have, i guess just not enough. I've looked at several different set ups already, just not close enough to see those cracks.
My Lovefab manifold has them everyone thinks its broken so dont feel alone... no one believed me when I told them they were for heat!

Turbo Performance Center manifold, as far as i recall, they don't make the kits for D series engines anymore.
the cuts are usually made because on normal eq lenght manis most are ade of stainless while the flanges are mild steel...both contract and expand at different rates...therefor the cuts allieviate some of the stress so i flex and keeps it from warping
