My ls will soon be boosted with a drag 3 kit. I'll be running open downpipe for lik a week or 2 until i get my exhaust piping made, so i was wondering, how loud will it be?

 

at idle... nice and smooth... on boost.. hold your ears.

Eh, it's not too bad, significantly quieter than an N/A open header. Open DP = no exahust restriction = LOTS-O-POWA !!!!!!!

clamp a muffler under there if it's too bad. cherry bombs ($15) actually don't sound bad and it's under the car so no one laughs at you. i tried open dp for one full throttle pull and HAD to muff it.

 

its pretty self-explanatory... of course it will be loud!

People will hear your car coming from a very, very long distance away. Ever heard a Harley? Yeah...like that loud...hehehe. When you boost though, it sounds BAD ***...

Well, mine was really ******* loud, but I still drove around with it open.
