For those of you with Power Inverters
Hey,
My plan: I'm going to make a bracket to mount my power invertor into my glovebox so I can get constant power to my laptop when I watch movies during roadtrips. The power inverter has a power and ground wire.
Question: Should I just run the red wire directly to the battery and the ground wire to a ground on the chassis? Or do I have to run the ground wire to the negative on the battery?
Thanks.

Ground it to the chassis and fuse the positive lead from the battery. Also, in the future you might want to post questions of this sort in a more appropriate forum.
