00 si tranny problems
so i was driving down highway yesterday with my girl to the mall. all of a sudden she starts yelling i didnt do it i didnt do it as my revs begin to climb like theres no tomorrow. so i look down and i'm not in 5th gear anymore. no big deal right the clumbsy girl probably just hit it with her knee put it back in gear and keep going. wrong i put it back in 5th gear but it just jumps out of gear again. so i try a couple more times but the problem continues. has anyone had this happen to them? it shifts fine into every gear stays in every gear except 5th. is this a synchronizer problem or is a linkage out of adjustment or what do you guys think?

usually syncro only make it hard to get into the gear, the gear itself makes it pop out, so I doubt its the synchro.
