the last summere i put my ls vtec and it had B16 pistons with brand new rings and was only in for a couple of months before i took it out and took the head off it.I never checked the compression on it when it was running.

So my probleme is, every once in a while i will fill the cylinders with penetrating oil just enough so the top of the piston is just showing.When i look at it 4-5 hours later. the oil is gone.

Is this normal because the oil is very light and thats what its suppose to do, or are the piston rings supposed to be complete seal

whats that mean, did i install them wrong?
