Default NOS jet to drop oil press?

hi guys, i read a lot but do not post too freq, here is a q for you...

have any1 heard about using a NOS jet to drop oil press of turbo?? (did search) if so, what size?

just heard of the idea, since i'm not familiar with NOS jets, dunno

dont they come in different sizes? i've read that for the turbo you dont need too much pressure...

You are correct. Different turbos require different orifice sizes. On our Garrett GT45R, we use a .035" dia. hole. That is what Garrett recommended for our turbo. For your turbo, contact your turbo manufacturer and they can tell you exactly what you need

NOS jets would be convenient if they could attach to your oil feed system easily. I don't see how they would. But 1/8 NPT allen-head pipe plugs (with whatever size hole you want drilled in them) are easy to fit.
