Buy the filter from Summitracing.com
Also, the differences in the Type-S intake are minimal; the Type-S will have slightly more low/mid end torque and the 3" aftermarket intakes will have slightly more top-end.

I was thinking of buying the V2. I got the regular AEM cai right now cuz it came with the car when I bought it. I wish I could just go the ebay way. However, I need that damn carb exempt bull shi#. After driving thru some flooded streets (luckily I was using my parent's mini van at the time) I got a lil scared about cai. Sometimes its just hard to avoid the puddles and such...unless you got two cars then its easy. So now, its either a regular AEM short ram or the AEM V2 for me...I want the V2, but damn 260+tax+shipping
Also, some people might tell you..just put it in neutral and coast thru the flooded street. YEAHHH right, when I did happen to drive into deeper, unavoidable water, the whole damn car slows to a stop..and that's when it wasn't even in neutral but was still in drive(was in my van not me car hell no!)..unless of course the puddle or whatever is hella short...

Yeah I know... It is a lot. I was able to get it because school was out and I was working two jobs. Felt like splurging.

IM about to do the same....simple reason for me tho carb exempt...plus I don't want the regular AEM short ram. Also cuz I wanna hear how it sounds, dumb reason to spend a lot of money, but oh well...I'll make someone pay for some of it haha..arright later
Also, about the gains, I think AEM or some shop online has a dyno sheet of a prelude with the V2 vs their regular cai..I'll try and find the link later.

if you think that sounds good, you should try hearing a SRI on a lude........or some ITB's

so your saying sri sounds better than the v2, just louder? I heard the V2 is deeper sounding
enough of that, my main question now is, when I check online such as optionimports.com or say..modacar.com as an example, the part number for the AEM V2 for a Prelude is AEM-24-6006C but when I check AEM's website, they say its AEM-24-6005...okay wtf? so who should I believe.
