Oil coming out of breather after boosting help!

Default Oil coming out of breather after boosting help!

i have a 5th gen on about 7-8 lbs of boost and after running it hard around the breather area of the valve cover there is oil, also the breather is soaked. I heard of this and also my oil measuring stick poping out, but wat is it i should do to fix it.

If you're boosting it's gonna increase crankcase pressure.
That's probably why there is so much oil coming from there.

You could always install an oil catch can.

Or check your pcv valve.

it will not make it safe, blowby is from broken/cracked/not sealing rings, how would a headgasket make it safer, the damage is already there

Yea your rings are gone. I have the same problem. I would check your oil freaquently now cuz your probally burning it. Sounds like its time for a rebuilt block and increase the boost for you.

i was having this problem, did a comp. test and found that my #3 cyl was down to 130 (on my gsr). Just rebuilt the block, arias pistons & rings and eagle rods, but i'm still getting a small amount of vapor coming out of my valve cover breather. i've hooked catch cans to both PCV sys. and to the valve cover breather. i'm only getting the vapor our of the breather, and it's a strange "milkylooking" substance, not straight oil. what's wrong? did the rings not seal? i've put just over 500miles on the new setup.

I am goin to biuld the block what should i use. Should i also use a thick headgasket if im biulding it?
