Default Oil Consumption?

I have been running my built D16 Turbo for about 6 months now. I understand, obviously, that the motor is going to use oil during the break in period. But as of right now, normal driving and minimal boosting, it does not use oil, but when driving hard say for a day or two or a long interstate trip I am about a quart low. I was told that this is normal oil consumption for a built turbo honda, but I'm not sure.

oil consumption is not normal, it is accepted as part of owning a modded car.
check for ring blowby when motor is hot, vaccuum hose routing, crankcase evap, pcv valve, you may only need an oil separator/catchcan., check your IC plumbing to see if there is oil residue in there it may be flowing past the dynamic seal/bearings.

yes it is normal and check out the things rctype11 listed. it is normal to have a little bit of oil residue inside of your I/C piping, not excessive but just a tad bit is ok. when you dont boost much, your engine wont consume that much oil. when you boost the hell out of it, thats when your engine starts drinking oil.
