Default B Swap.....

I have searched... and found nothing... so im gonna give it a whirl.

Lookin to swap B series and I keep reading posts about how people can swap B for 2500....and the quote stage 2 gave me is 3300. 4000 with honda lsd and clutch package. Thats a sold 800/1500 difference.... anyway heres the story...

Im lookin to swap and willing to drive to get it done... I live in Jersey but go to school in Delaware. I can drive as far as maryland and New York.... I would rather do it myself... but i dont have a lift or the experience....and paying someone just feels weird, but sometimes it just comes down to havin to spend the money.

If you know a shop preferably in Jersey, that is reputable for the swap let me know your experiences. Also if youd be willing to help a fellow tuner learn, and save some money id be happy to pay someone to help me out. Of course stage 2 comes with a warranty so i will take that into consideration.

Thanks!
Eric

Wow I made an idiot mistake...coulda sworn i was in Hybrid...be gentle on the flaming

well it depends on the b series that you want. I know that 1320 performance shop in Linden NJ will do a complete b16 swap for roughly $1,000. but if you want a gsr your gonna be looking at spending more

i live near philly and am a mechanic. you dont need a lift to do it. sure it would make it easier but its not too bad without it. ive done three B swaps in my garage with hand tools and its still like a day or two project. if you wanna come up here id be more then happy to help out. let me know

WHen we did the last b series swap into a 4door we winched the front end of the car up, took the motor out thru the bottom ,and when we swapped the new motor in, we set the car on the motor, instead of putting the motor over the car.

im not sure what car it comes out of, but i believe it is the SiR. the full model code is B16A2

and at 1320 they have a certified honda mechanic, so i think they are pretty competent

I would really prefer to do the swap myself to get some experience on my hands...I just need a b16 and someone who knows how...I mean with all the info out there im sure i could figure it out but its that much easier when you have someone who knows what they are doing.

Anyway...if you wanna help me out... email me eguidice@hotmail.com

We can work on a place to get a motor and do the swap

Thanks!
