Default best intake for price?

i did the search but i couldnt really find anything but intake manifolds. I just wanted to see what all your opinions are for cold air intakes for H22. Ive heard the V2 and Jay's racing are among the best but i wanted to see if any of you have one and what you thought of it. tha

I got an AEM cuz of its carb exempt. I don't know what the laws are over there but here in Cali it ain't all good if get your hood popped and you got some cheap ebay ****. I currently got an AEM cai but there's some streets that flood here so IM thinking of going short ram or V2, but the V2 cost way too much.

But I guess these guys are right, the ebay ones are the best intake for the price.

The AEM V2 is a good cold air induction, ive hurd the the injen is a nice 1 also but for the price you cant go wrong with the ebay piping with k&n filter. Thats what i did.

I personally have owned 3 ebay intakes and I think they work great for the money. I also have one Weapon R filter and I think it wasn't worth it compared to the ebay intakes.

lol, or, you could just cut your stock intake and clamp on a K&N filter on that sucker. I've seen a few people do that... wonder how it works/sounds, hehe.

I have a v2, and it kicks ***. But the downside is that it's pretty expensive. I'm boosting my ride, so I'll be selling my v2 when I finish my turbo setup (which probably won't be until summer---Need the free time to work on it).

check out: K&N 57-0450

it´s a filter from k&n that you can put together with your stock intake air duct

http://www.knfilters.com/57i/5...s.htm

then check applications

I use a AEM v2 intake just because i had $ to spend out of my *** when i bought the damn thing. If i were to do it agian... id probably buy the AEM V2 agian just because it looks very professional or what not... and under load it sounds good. But the fact of the matter is... its just intake air, ebay intake v a AEM v2 im almost certian there wouldnt be any diffrence on a track. Go with what you think looks the best... thats the way to do it... and if not looks your after, then get dryer ducting, duct tape, and a cheap air filter from ebay.

revlimit's right. i use an injen myself, and it is very good and sounds great under pressure, but i got a deal on it. otherwise, it's too much money. just get a pipe that fits your throttle body at the end and slap a better filter on that bad boy.

Something sorta weird is an AEM Cold Air Intake actually caused a power decrease on my brother's h23. The best thing I've heard to do with Preludes is to keep the stock intake and put a K&N filter on it.

I doubt that was the intakes fault, I have an H23 and i noticed a power difference the first time i stepped on it. Was probaly your bro's car that was at fault.
