Default only 6 psi? car is also holding back when it starts boosting

hi guys, i just finished my turbo setup, i have some question to ask but first goes the setup list.
88 crx

d16z6
obd1 conversion, using p28
uberdata
14b turbo
std manifold
adapter plate
450cc injectors
tuner toys oil feed/drain lines
dsm 1g bov
ic pipes 2"
down pipe 2 1/4"
johnny racer intercooler
2.25 crush bend exhaust, resonator in the middle putting lot of restriction

problems are:
-car is holding back for a moment when boost comes
-im only getting 6 psi, isnt it suppose to boost 9 psi stock? I havent touch the wastegate.

comments, suggestions?

Sounds like your timing is off

Stock boost is 9-10 on a 14b. As stated your boost problem is probably a vaccum leak and the car is holding back probably because of the plugs. Sounds like a nice little setup you got there.

I think the common plugs are the ngkbr7s or something like that. It really sounds like you have a boost leak in a chrage pipe OR you have a pinch in the boost gauge line, allowing it to only reach 6. Check all of the above. Most likely you basemap for uber needs tuned a little. THe hesitation is more than likely timing, like previously stated.

both. Make sure that everything is where it is suppose to be. If it is off on the distributor, it is off on the maps..
