when i drive my car and come to a stop the car idles at around 2k but if i tap on the gas pedal real quick it will go back down. the problem is the throttle cable rotor won't go back to normal position. what can i do to make to go back?

Is the part you are talking about really dirty? If it is you cant try cleaning it but don't adjust anything while you do it, you could **** up your idle beyond your repair.

 

i havent check the inside of the throttle body yet.. but i tried adjusting the cable and that didnt do a damn thing.
