Friend of mine has a d16z6 motor, needs to find out what ecu he needs, thanx for the help

Depends on what tranny hes running too i belive but a P20 sounds right to me for a stick, dont quote me on this tho

hes got a manny tranny, i dont know the specifics of what hes using, but a p20 you say?

P20? Nah, you should get a P28 from a USDM Si. You could also get the JDM P29 from the ZC, and the P30 from the JDM Del Sols. If he's going to want to perform the car at all in the near future, make sure he gets one that's chippable; he can purchase these on ebay for ~$200. I have all three and performance wise, I'd say my P30 w/ a skunk2 chip worked best with my D16 Sohc Vtec ZC, I was able to even chip 3rd w/ stock internals.
