well i was driving on the highway and and punching it in third got to about 7500 rpm and for some reason my hand decided to put it into second insted of fourth as soon as that happend i put the clutch back in and i think it wint to about 8500 rpm and now when it gets to idle it dies some of the time could use some advice

 

only way to find out is pop off the valve cover and take a look.

lol i think i did this a few days ago too
our first post looks IDENTICAL
i dropped second at about that, it made it up to over 8k rpm before i disengaged
and now it overheats, vtec pressure switch CEL, limp mode, and oh yeah.. overheats ?overheatsoverheats BLAAA

i must be lucky i also have done the same damn thing. but it went way over 8 dont know how far wasnt looking at the tach but my logger said oh about 9326. i was shitting my pants for sure.
i still must be lucky dont know how i got away without any probs that i know of.
valves suck ahha
