if i remember a while back , i thought i remember hearing that these were for the d16z motors . will they fit the y motors?

if the hondata wont , are there any makers of a similar one that will fit the y8?

i had the same question. I asked ben at importparts becuae he has them on sale but he said they didnt. And then others say that they make them.

I put a hondata D16 IM gasket on my y8 just yesterday... It fits, end of story.

Exactly, it fits but my guess is it may not fit on a 99-00 because of the air injection.

 

last year I had a y8 IM on my Z6 head with a Hondata gasket and it was fine.... I dont know why it wouldnt fit ??

Only the 99-00 had them. You can easily drill it.

That causes a problem on boosted cars doesnt it.. I remember when I ran d-series and I used a y8 manifold on my setup I remember hearing something about that..
