Default y8 dizzy on a z6!?!?!?!?!?!!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

i want to know if a y8 distributer will work on a z6 motor the reason im askin is becouse my y8 blew and i got a z6 and want to now if it wil work.
sorry if this has bein covered before but i didnt find anything

No, it doesn't.

You would only be able to use the top bolt, and the slot would need to be modified slightly. It is not a direct replacement.

^true. y8 dizzy will fit in a y7, b7, b8, but NOT a z6. only a z6 will fit a z6.

Yup, that is a no. Only the top bolt works as previously stated. Requires some modification to work.

Wrong , it requires some modification in order to fit correctly. The bolt holes dont all match up right.

I have no clue where it came from. sorry OP didnt realize that they didnt work. I just assumed that the heads were so close it work. my bad.

Actually, you can bolt a d15z1 or d15b dizzy on a z6 head.

it wont bolt in but it'll lock in.. the bolts dont line up

well the y8 will fit just with the top bolt on thats the only one that lines up
