Default VAFC 2 Tunning/Fuel Managment???

Ok I'm kinda new/slow so bear with me. I have been building a turbo kit for the last 3 months. Let me put it this way I'm 17 in college already work my *** off and dump money into my car its my love my passion. Anyways we installed it last week figuring it would be ok with just a autometer boost and A/F ratio. BTW i have a 95 civic EX.

So we run into some leaning out problems. Ya i know the Autometer a/f isn't the best i just runs off the signal wire but i thought it would be fine (keep in mind i have a part time job with a losy 250-300 2 week pay checks) Becasue i cant afford a Wideband right at the moment (233 a month insurance doesnt help)

I also have a Vortech FMU. Well I know that we had the lines hooked up on the FMU right but they were going back to the stock Fuel Pressure Regulator which was on the stock fuel rail. I also have a 190LPH fuel pump (Walbro) that we didnt hood up didn't think i'd need it. Just wanted to see what it would do. (also we took it off 2 days after it was leaning out.) But I'm thinking maybe the Vortech FMU was working but it wasent putting pressure into the fuel rail just building up in the line (12:1 Ratio BTW) So I have a AEM fuel coming just going to get a fitting for the fuel rail and the fuel line so it can go directly into the fuel rail instead of back to the Fuel Pressure Regulator.

Sorry I hope you are following.

I have been reading alot of stuff about people tunning with uberdata, hondata....
I'm wondering with the VAFC 2 Work good enough for my Garret T25 as far as fuel managment and etc.?

I ask becasue I don't have alot of money for the programing of my ECU. So i was going to take it to the Dyno shops about 1 hour away from my town after we get the VAFC II on and the turbo everything like that. Hoping that they will tune it for me. My friends say that they will.

I just want other people's opinion's on my setup.

Hope I wasen't to confusing. (Also I didn't mean to share my life story sorry)

THANKS GUYS APPRECATE IT ALOT!

Bump Sorry. Also We took the spark plugs out and they didn't have any metal specales on them except for number 3 but there was only one and yes i looked at it with a magnifying glass to. I was running open downpipe so I couldn't really listen for any pinging i dont think it was tho. Sorry for being such a noob, but hey at least I'm not like everyother 17 year old kid with a honda Ricers

do you have bigger injectors? If not that is the first step. Ditch the FMU and get some bigger injectors to use with the hack. If you want to run a programmed ecu there are many people how can help you out on here.

Are you on stock plugs and what is the gap? Did you retard the timing any at the distributor? How much boost?

Well I was told the FMU would work just fine without bigger injectors. No i dont have bigger injectors. I'm running 6 psi on stock internals ETC. i Got colder plugs. i really didn't wanna do the hack becasue i don't anything about it i read here and there but not enough.

I also have a question say i have that local dyno shop tune it for me once they tune it to just below peak performance would it be ok?

personal experience says that FMUs are garbage. Some people like them, some don't. I just know mine didn't work at all. It was a 10:1 disc.
