Default suspension bolt difficulty

i'm having a problem with getting a bolt off to get at a bushing and was hoping someone else has already done this.

on the rear of the prelude, there is a rear arm, i think maybe the arm behind the LCA...it has a self locking bolt on one side and a nut with a weird shaped washer on the other side.(i think this is to adjust toe?) anyway, how do i totally remove the bolt? i can get the nut off just not the bolt.

so basically once the nut is off that bolt should slide right out or does it have to be screwed out? if it just slides, i'm thinking it won't come out b/c the pressure of the arm is pressing the bolt against metal so if i put the jack under that arm and raise it up a bit i'm hoping it will pop it out thanks for the help

no b/c that's the front end pic.

it's no. 31 bolt on both side of the rear of the car that i'm having trouble getting out. i have to replace that bushing and have to get that bolt out to get to it. i got the nut off and the bolt turns but doesn't come out so i've tried using a prybar, a hammer, you name it.

i also have a problem getting no. 49 bolt out of the trailing arm.

any help appreciated. need help quick!

try heating the bushing up, while using something to pry or knock the bolt out with...heating the bushin should loosen the tight *** grip it has on the bolt...i had this problem with a 96 civic and thats what worked for me.

well, the weird thing is, i can turn the arm and the bushing spins. i can turn the bolt and the bushing just stays there so i would assume it's not stuck to the bolt. that arm is close to the gas tank isn't it? i don't know if i'd feel right using a blow torch so close to a gas tank like that. it's also right near the pipe connecting the gas tank and to where you fill it.

i'm wondering if a torch doesn't work if i could drill through the top right off the bolt or maybe drill through the bolt and split it.

ok, i took the whole subframe off to get to it easier and i've: blow torched it,hammered it with a BFH, and used a 6 foot bar on it but the bolt continues to spin but will not seperate itself from the inner part of the bushing. should i just find someone with a saw and cut the damn thing off? i think i'm just gonna take it to a shop tomorrow.

I had this problem as well. The weird shape is for adjusting the rear toe. I just took it to the shop and had them deal with it. I hammered and heated for hours that damn thing was glowing red hot but still wouldnt come out of there. I took mine to an alignment shop and they aligned it afterwards as well because you will need it. Good luck man!
