need help with hx engine mods...
i just bought a civic hx....and i was wondering.....will engine performance parts like intakes, headers, and exsaust for cx's, dx's, and ex's fit on my car?

the best mod for that motor is to pull it out and throw it out back behind the shop, go b16 b18 or something to that nature..

Talk to Spade and Mista Bone. They know a thing or two about SOHC engines. I believe the intake will work from other models, but I'm not sure about the Header.

First......Welcome and remember your cam is better than the ex and your engine is more powerful......!!!
2nd. Get an EX tranny.
3rd. Get an EX exhaust.
4th. Get the EX intake manifold and trottle body.

not everyone has the funds for a swap. does that kind of part swapping work for a dx as well? I assume it would.

Oh and race an EX.....you will win if the other driver drives like you.....Lighter weight and almost the same power.

ur car is a 98..plenty of mods out there if u want to spend the bucks..average id say is about 1 hp gain with every $200 u spend..and 98 USDM swaps arent exactly cheap or easy to come by..and if u live in calif. forget about smogging a cheaper but more powerful JDM motor..i know some will say u can smog a JDM..if so, tell us how..if not get a blower from jackson racing

there s only 2 ways to go..forced or swap..maybe both if u got the bucks...i drive a supercharged 98 dx w/custom exhaust, headers, complete ingnition upgrade, and koni shocks with kg/mm springs...works wonders on Hwy 1
