I believe TODA has what you're looking for. There is a person on CRSX doing this. You might have better luck there.

You will need the complete head of course, rsx-s ecu and/or hondata, new gaskets, headbolts, rsx-s/310cc injectors.

Thats it as far as I know, but of course there are optional parts that could help. Such as an external oil cooler to help with those higher revs since the a3 is short a few oil squirters. Unfortunatley, the a3 block doesnt like to rev as high to take full advantage of the a2 head but I have read about some nice gains from the swap regardless. Saw a guy on ephatch making 197whp and ~144 lb ft of torque with just the head swap, intake, race header, exhaust, and hondata.

A larger oil pump, a2 crank, pistons and rods, will also be a big help but by that point imo you'd be better off spending your dollars with the full a2 swap.

Also by your definition of 'true vtec' I'm assuming you mean vtec on both the intake and exhaust cam as opposed to the a3's only having it on the intake side. Fundementally both motors are 'true vtec'.

Shoot, reread his post. Thought he was talking about disabling VTC. Oh well.

if you mean that you have an EP3 or a Base RSX, then you will need a complete head like tomek said.

The typeS also has iVTEC. the EP3 and Base RSX have the K20A3 engine that also have VTEC in the strictest sense of the term. what the K20A3 lacks is the "race" cam lobe. K20A3 is made for mpg efficiency.
