I just picked up a sol and the rear piece where the liscence plate goes is dented....The owner included another piece, there is four bolts that hold it on then another two behind the liscense plate. They have some sort of circle bolt on it and Im completly confused on how to remove it...Anyone?

 

any way you can get a pic of it??

 

It sucks but vice grips, it is the only way since it is not like a normal nut, no big deal though you never see it later on.

Vise grips Replace the circle nuts with regular nuts!

i had the same problem....just take off the liscense plate and drill it out. it will look just fineif you put bolts in each hole, plus the liscense plate covers it. start small with the rill bits, and gradually get bigger untill the bit is bigger than the bolt stem......you'll feel it when it pops.

Drilling??? Yikes!!!

I used used vice grips with one hand while pushing in from the outside with the other hand to relieve stress. Then I replaced them with regular nuts.
