Can anyone burn a p72 chip that disables the knock sensor for me??
Until I run hondata on my car it would be nice to have a chip that disables the knock sensor on my p72 ecu. I would run a p28 if I had one but I dont. Any help is appreciated.

i dont have a burner, but ide like to chime in....
why would you want to get a chip burnt (most likely uberdata) then go to hondata? doesnt make much sense to me. plus uberdata is better anyway

Its a boosted motor. Im running it stock for now. It is already chipped. If I pull the J1 jumper all I will get is codes. I dont want to break the engine in in limp mode. I already have Hondata so im just going to stick with that for engine management.

why don't you run a knock sensor wire for it? it help you monitor your engine. ex bad gas, denation...imo.

hmm... not sure what youre running, but im boosted as well, and happily running uberdata for less that 20 bucks.
