Default gahh LSD woes

i need an lsd, but i want one that can handle a lot of power. My #1 pick is obx cause it can take a beating and is uber-cheap (so if it breaks i dont care).

Problem is i cant find a single obx lsd for a 94-01 gsr, im not even sure if they exist for this tranny.

I would just get an OEM lsd, but apparently they cant handle much power. It seems like my only other options is quaife and that like $1000, much more than i wanted to spend.

Are there any lsd's that dont make a lot of noise, can handle a lot of power, and arent a budget-buster?

buying potential shitty lsd and keep replacing it
spending a lot on good lsd and not having to replace it.

what are your plans to get all this power? because if you take a route like that to achieve your high hp you are in for a world of ****.

spend the money, do it right.

i have a special modified gsr differential. It performs better than an LSD.. but I havent' had time to patent it. It'll be the new thing in a yr or 2. I'll sell it to u for $400... limited time offer. Blow quaife away..

Better to be safe than sorry. Why the rush? Why not just save?

OBX copy like i told you, if you are claiming to be building a high HP car, done be a cheapass. 500 extra dollars is a drop in the bucket, and you will never have to worry about your differental.

cheap, fast, reliable.
you can only have 2, never the 3rd.

I am running a KAAZ on my turbocharged integra (547 WHP) and I have never had a problem. The one thing that I do not like about the gear type LSD units is that they will eventually wear out he outer casing and have to be replaced. With a clutch pack type you just have to relplace the clutch packs, which is way cheaper than a brand new unit. It might be a little more exspensive in the beggining but in the long run I think it is worth it.

Yeah thats my mindset too thats why ill prolly end up shelling out the $950 for the Q. But I gotta buy a turbo, wastegate, hondata, bov, fmic, and other misc things thats why i was looking for a more budget friendly alternative.

damn guess there really isnt one
