Think of 3 things and answer each of them to yourself before you do anything:

1) What's your goal? Looks, Performance & Handling improvements or a possible combination of both?

There must be a plan. Does "Mod X" fit into my cars developed end plan? Sometimes the plan may change or get altered but it's hard to build a car without one, and or much money can be spent in all sorts of directions even when you have a plan. Just buying crap cause $$$ is burning a hole in your pocket is foolish and many times a waste of said money.

2) What's your Budget? Realistically How much do you have to spend or how much will you be able to budget and save for your purchases? Sucks ***** when you just bought that new "JDM-blingness-whatever-new-part" but you can't afford gas now to actually drive the car.

3) Research, research, research. Did you research is enough? Did you find any data that supports or disproves the mods functionality? Did you scour the internet? Did you use this forums Search function and check the archived posts in this forum as well as others? Did you try to see any mod in person or did you try to drive the car with said mod before you bought it and had it installed?

Best of luck

thanks man. yeah i saw the archived posts after i made this thread. i've been on HAN for a little over a year, so i know how stuff works. i've just heard some mixed opinions about the s techs. some guys think they're too stiff, others that the ride quality is poor. then there are some that love these springs, think the stiffness is just about right, and that the ride quality is just as good if not better than stock. my plan is to improve looks as well as performance. i want a nice aggressive stance and good handling. would the s techs get it done? or are there some other springs that would be better? thanks for the tips.
btw.. 01-0720, i've seen you around the cockeysville area. i work at frankel acura, i recognize your py with black painted wheels. and i remember seeing the s tech sticker on your back windshield. thanks for the advice, and nice R

A friend of mine was thinking about those springs, but I think he found that they are softer than stock ITR. Anyone have solid info on whether that is true or not?

If I ever come across a cheap, used set I will most likely pick them up.

what are the rate compared to OEM.

Stock ITR suspension is made so well, sometimes aftermarket springs can actually decrease performance.
