Default Tein S-tech springs--how much do they lower?

Thought I'd post this here because the Civic board is dead.

How much do the Tein "soft" sorings lower your car by in general (on a 96-00 Civic Coupe if you want to get specific)? I'm not looking for much lowering and I was wondering if these springs would be too extreme. Not for my car, but a friend.
