boost vs boost/vac gauge

Default boost vs boost/vac gauge

which one do u guys have? is the boost/vac necessary? or will i be fine with just boost?

I have boost/vac. I suppose it might be beneficial in figuring out if you have a vac leak or not.

good point. how much harder is it to install the boost/vac compared to just boost? is it just a matter or hooking up a vac line?

Vac lines and boost lines are the same thing (assuming you tap after the TB). Thus, the install is exactly the same.

just hook up a vac line.. and like he said its good for seeing if ya have vac leak..

ive got just boost... its kinda annoying seeing that needle go everywhere, 20" vac to 10psi. but thats just me

boost/vac gauge is good for self street tuning as you can see what RPM you are at and where you are in vac for part throttle tuning.
