Boost not kicking in...vacuum leak?
Just filled up on some 91 and not getting any boost. My boost gauge isnt reading anything either so I think the fmu isnt seeing any boost either so its not providing the fuel I need. Any ideas?

Drag3 kit. Not feeling any boost at all. My boost gauge isnt showing any vacuum at all. I have the bov, fmu, fpr, and boost gauge all t'd off together.

you should show about vaccum at idle, down around 22 or so,if your not showing vaccum, then you might have a pinch in the line going to the boost gauge, and if your not feeling boost, then you have a leak somewhere, intercooler piping,or your wastegate is stuck open ,or you have a leak in the exhaust system before the turbo.is the kit new?has it ever shown any boost

The kit worked perfectly before. I think the problem is with the vacuum lines. If the fmu isnt reading boost correctly then the boost shouldnt kick in w/o the fuel right?

Re: Boost not kicking in...vacuum leak? (Arturbo)
Ill recheck my pipes first thing tommorow morning. So you think the boost gauge is just a seperate issue?

where does your boost gauge read from, the intake or somewhere else,im assuming that it is not on the intake or you would be reading vaccum,i agree with art, sounds like some piping or a clamp has come loose,if not, then your wastegate is stuck open or your exhaust manifold has come loose.

Yup it was a pipe. This board never ceases to amaze me. Thanks guys. But my gauge still isnt reading boost. Im thinking its just a clogged line. Imma get some new line and rerun it and see if that works.

Do you an external wastgegate or internal with accuator? If you have an accuator check the arm connecting to the internal wastegate. If it comes off you'll build next to no boost.
Good luck, and get your self a vacume gauge.
