Going to get other a 00 B18b swap and turbo it..OR a b18c5 swap in to a 93 DX hatch. I no both motors r not obd 1 there 2 and C5 has VTEC and ls does not. My qustion is... i no with the c5 swap i need to buy a p28ecu and re chipp it. But what about a B18b Swap??
-Will it be a easyer swap bec no VTEC and so does my dx ecu?
-Can i use my stock ecu? do i get it chipped and what not?
-Will the obd2 harness plug in to the obd1?
-AND rember i want to go turbo does that have any thing to do with what ecu i use?? any in info would be great thanks alot

I have a 97'LS in my 93dx.
I used the OBD2 harness for the motor... and used the OBD1 harness, from the fire-wall to the ECU. Used a 95' LS ECU and it runs really strong. You can chip it later for boost.

Had to switch some things for the MAP sensor also. On my hatch the MAP-sensor mounted on the firewall. On the LS the MAP sensor sits on top of the Intakemanifold. It was just three wires and a screw (no biggy). After-that I was code-free and loving it.

---However, If you got the cash, go for the C5 NO DOUBT.

 

regardless you will need to run obd1 ecu. you can use dx ecu and have it chipped for Ls specs and turbo.
obd2 engine harness will plug into your eg chassis.

 

for the c5, try to get a p72[gsr] or p75 [itr] ecu, itll work better
