Default vtec oil pressure switch and the vtec solenoid plugs....

will i get a CEL if these aren't hooked up? motor is non-vtec. but using an EX engine harness. DOHC.

and the knock sensor plug isn't hooked up either. LS=no knock sensor.

CEL or not?

Negative. If its a VTEC ECU, and theres no wire from the VTEC OPS or Solenoid, then it'll throw a CEL. I'm assuming you're running a B18B, so get an OBD1 LS ecu.
