i got my benson's b16 , gt32eturbo setup ready to start...i dont have exhaust yet, its gonna be a custom fab...can i run open downpipe safely for now, just to get it tuned, or is that a bad idea?

Actually at the top it says Open Downpipes.

And to answer the question you will be fine to run an open dp, it will be a lil loud and you have a great smell on the inside but thats it. I've been running one for about 4 months now

 

philly cops are gonna love you too. be careful. it is possible to stay open, but you will attract alot of attention.

if you put an exhaust on later you'll probably have to re-tune it some.
