12:1 FMU will work fine, just don't forget to run a high pressure pump along with it.

You'll need either a high pressure inline pump or the Walbro 255HP, the standard 255 lph won't provide the pressure for the fmu.

No, it will need to be a inline pump. Some people get by with a 255 high pressure and the regular 255 but they were not meant to provide the line pressures the FMU needs to operate. I'm selling both if your interested and the worked fine well over a year on my Civic

well this is just a semi temporary fix. In about two months ill have hondata, so i dont wanna spend a mint before i go out and do it right.

so would i NEED an inline AND intank pump... is that what you guys are saying? i havent heard of this fix (ive only done ecu swaps, none of this hackney crap im doing). most honda turbo kits come with one pump, and thats really not enough?

*scratches head* please enlighten me, or just make fun of me or something.

Hey dude,

I'm kinda in the same situation that you are in right now. I wanted to get Hondata and bigger injectors, but right now I cant afford it. I was also thinking about running the FMU setup on my Rev Hard kit for a month or two until I have enough money to buy hondata and bigger injectors. I ended up buying a Walbro high pressure 255 intank pump. But I also have a CRX w/ B18C swap, and I dont want to max out the stock CRX fuel pump with the FMU setup. I dont know if that's something you'll wanna consider too. I guess it cant hurt to have a bigger fuel pump, since you plan on upgrading in the future you might as well get one now.

It's not that expensive really, I got my Walbro HP 255lph pump from http://www.lightningmotorsports.com for only $107 shipped to my door. They also have 190 lph ($69?), 255 lph ($79?) and 255 lph HP ($99) pumps for sale.

EDIT: my main concern with using a FMU setup now and alter on getting rid of it and going with Hondata is how "reversible" the setup is. IIRC with an intank fuel pump you have to cut into your fuel feed lines? can anybody tell us how easy it would be to go back to the stock fuel feed setting, before the installation of the inline fuel pump?

TIA

you guys really should run an inLINE pump, the HP intank walbro still can not keep up with the fuel pressures created by a 12:1 FMU.

Get an inline pump and use in in conjunction with your stock honda intank pump and you'll be good to go.
