Hey all,

Started up the car..... Good times..... Put it into first, and start comming off the clutch and all I get is grinding. If I put it into 2nd, and go from a dead stop.... no prob..... same with reverse.


What ya think all?

 

is it swapped? it could be your linkage

well then thats just a direct swap then right? any oil in the tranny?

 

We did put in the tranny fluid, oil, coolant, everything

 

Try synchromesh friction modified, I had problem with the 2nd to 3rd syncho. It went away after 100 miles.

 

OK, so the Shift linkage may not be connected correctly? I will be looking at the car on Boxing day, so I am trying to gather up info to attack it tomorrow
