what is ur AFR while cruising ??
i currentely wired up an aftermarket computer
and unfortunately my gas mileage is so **** , i used to be able to get 10 litres for 95-100km with the stock computer , now is like 60km ish
so i just wondering whats the standard AFR honda set on cruising mode ??
14:1 or leaner than that ??
thanks

Unless something is wrong with your primary O2 sensor or computer, it should bounce around 14.7:1. Mine tends to spend more time on the richer side of that, but it circles it for sure.
Aftermarket computer? I think that needs some more defining.
I've seen chipped ECU's with closed-loop disabled (kenji's in particular) that idle and cruise in the 13:1's before trimming the fuel mixture.
I've also seen Uberdata start-up maps that idle in the 10:1's.
You should be shooting for 14.5:1 to 15.5:1 at idle (depending on what likes to idle the smoothest), and anywhere from 14.5:1 to 16.0:1 at light cruising conditions (depending on where it likes to be to keep from lean misfiring).

when i got that mileage , i was driving like a nana
its a wire-in aftermarket computer , standalone
well looks like time to get it tuned again
thanks

If I tune my Hondata right, I can get almost 39 MPG on long cruising trips doing 65 to 70 mph, and that's only at 14.8:1 to 15.0:1 AFR's. It'll go at least another half point leaner before lean misfiring during light cruise conditions.

I'd believe it if,
-- This wasn't an Integra
-- You have cruise control
Either of those true? Or are you getting 38+ MPG in an ITR?
(I got 18 MPG city on my last tank
)

i got almost 30miles to the gallon in my turbo ITR once on the highway .
seriously though. part throttle best is like 14.0-15.0 maybe even a little leaner. idealy ithink 14.7 is where you wanna aim for perfect mixture. wot should be like 13.0-13.3 maybe for NA.
try a retune dude. or throw a wideband on it and see if its really rich like you think

That was a trip from Bloomington to Cincinnati and I had the wideband in the whole time and running in open-loop. I had removed the cruise control at that point to run gauge wires and use the clutch switch position for the Hondata's 3-step clutch switch.
And, my car is an Integra, but it's not an ITR. It's not a ***** out built motor, but it is rebuilt.
Steve Sakai has done it before and it's not terribly hard to do either.

This is hard to say between cars but many Hondas run well as lean as 13.7 to 13.8. I have tuned my R as lean as 13.9 to 14.0 without losing power or knocking. All depends on how agressive the timing is too.
EVen an aftermarket computer should have closed loop, turn it on

you should try the zt-2 as a wide band http://www.zeitronix.com
at idle 14.7
on WOT 11.3-11.5
cruising 14.5-14.9
at idle 14.7
on WOT 11.3-11.5
cruising 14.5-14.9
Why in the world would you run a normally aspirated Honda at 11.x ever at WOT? It is pig rich at those numbers. And certainly not making peak power.
