car runs like a raped ape
well today i got to drive the car for the first time in about 6 months or so. holy ****, the thing runs like a raped ape . according to my A/F guage with seperate O2 sensor i might add (which keeps it from bouncing all over the place) its reading stoich at idle and when on the gas goes to the top of lean condition. so all in all it feels great. cant slam on the gas in first anymore or ill get wheelspin. it even tries to break loose in second now . i guess losing 300lbs makes a hell of a difference. i try to b realistic and realize that i havent rode in the car in a long time but jesus, the damn things just pulls smooth. u hit VTEC and the things turns to a monster . just a heads up for ppl who have followed the project along.

man, talk about a full-on race car! Looks really good. so i guess a HUGE weight reduction does make a difference. awesome work.

what kind of whp do you think you are producing? from the engine setup i wouldnt be surprized if it was over 200. awesome and functional car, and it doesnt look like a p.o.s on the exterior like most of them ive seen.

Re: car runs like a raped ape (euclid)
thanx guys, things have changed since the last time i posted pics, but for the better. the wiring is all loomed and ran pretty nicely. the tops of the doors r painted black to flow with the black from the windows.
my wild guestimate is around 200 WHP also. i really dont have a clue though. its never been tuned, only *** dynoed. i cant complain. i dropped the motor in, added slicks, set the timing and boom i had a streetable mid 12 second car. then i took it to the next level and hopefully it will pull some more good times.
