Default Nitrous preperations.

I have a b18c block with a CTR head. In a CRX. My C/R is around 10:1. It seems 10:1 is ideal for n20.

I plan on installing a nx wet kit and running a 75shot. I have searched and read plenty, heres what most recommend.

3deg retarded timing
2step colder plugs
FPR, gauge.
94 octane in the tank
walbro255 fuel pump
sticky tires

I run ubderdata, so i can tune there also. For activating it, should i go with a WOT sensor or a window switch? Pro's Con's? How would i get it to start spraying in 2nd, i already have alot of wheelspin, if i launched on n20, it would probably spin like crazy, then hookup in a higher gear and bog..

N20 will only be used at the track, it seems like 95% of failures on n20 are due to installation error, not the proper tuning, or stupidity.

Thanks, feedback from people who have ran, install or know about n20.

You get banned on your other name or something?

The only problems youll have with a 75 shot is if you **** up in Uberdata

3 degrees is also what is recommended by NX, I ran no retard on my 75 shot dry with 93 octane and a 10.2:1 comp (b16) and wasnt detonating at all

Also, spraying your full shot in first suck donkey *****. If youve got some money you can look into a progressive controller. Maybe 35% in first 80% in second and the full load for the rest down the track.

Slicks would allow you to spray in first, but then youd have trouble with snapping axles

What track you go to? Kayuga or Shannonville?

Nah, my other name is still going. Problem is i got a new computer for my room, and it wont let me log on as this name, so i just made a new account. I did get banned from this name, but i think it was a mistake and they un-banned me. Anyways...

I go to cayuga, its about 30min from me. I got a buddy with a 5L that keeps blowing rear ends, and another buddy with a pickup that runs. I never ran last year because my car wasnt ready. Shannonville.. Thats out the opposite way i think? Are you GTA local?

I dont really want to run slicks, for the exact reason of blowing apart my diff, or axles, and having to tow it home. That would suck. Plus its a street car, and it has to be street times, on street tires with full interior and legal exhaust, etc.

With uberdata, to you sugest, just run a stock GSR map, stock timing richen it up a bit and disable secondaries? I will street tune it on a wideban off the bottle. Aim for.. 11:1?

Seems as long as i take normal precautions i will be fine, which is all i need to know Thanks alot.

Depending on how i like N20, i might throw in some rods, and forged pistons, and go direct port later-on. I dont like the idea of all the power of turbo on the street, too tempting

with n2o, hondata is better, it has n2o support built in, uber does not... Yet... Hopefully that will start being developed soon, and your more than welcome to help out.
