I was doing the CTR Grille and right after I cut out the plastic, I had to leave the shop I was at, so I bolted on my bumper and grille and now there is a big open space. untill tommorow, can I make trips? Is it a gamble?

 

just dont do 120 mph through the woods and youll be okay

couldn't stuff get through the opening and into my engine? I have a hole with no mesh or anything...

 

well unless you're driving through the woods at 120 mph, there shouldn't be anything dangerous or big enough, going through there to hurt the Radiator.

 

The only thing i'd be worried about is someone getting at my hood latch or something. You should be fine otherwise.

 

I live in ks, don't think anybody would try to steal my car in the part of town I live/always in.


Could rain, sleet or snow mess it up? How about leaves and pebbles? I usually only drive up to 60mph...and usually around 50...

 

I drive w/ a fully gutted upper grille
no problems ever

That stuff gets through your grille anyway...if a car was really that fragile where the stuff you mentioned disabled it, it wouldn't be on the road very long, grille or no grille...

 

your worrying for nothing.. if you look around people drive around without front bumpers or hoods all the time.. welcome to the tuner world, this will not be the first time you have to do something that your not normally comfortable with..

like someone already posted the only thing i'd be worried about is someone opening my hood and stealing from my engine bay!!!

 

not to mention... isnt a CTR grill wide open anyway?
