Default Timing Belt Kit? What do you guys use?

I need a timing belt, tensioner, and pump... prostreetonline has a kit but what i want to know is this. Is it safe to go with someone other OEM? Now, if i went another route like Alloemparts.com which brand timing belt shall i go with? They have, Goodyear, Conti and one from Japan and one not listed on the name but that one is the most expensive. I just dont want some shitty water pump and belt thats all. What do you guys use????

With something that crucial I wouldn't use anything other than OEM. I've heard about poor quality with aftermarket brands, although some people will stand tall next to them.

How many miles on your car? It isn't always necessary to replace the tensioner, I just did my timing belt and didn't replace it. No need to. Just did the belt and water pump.

I got my belt and water pump shipped to me from http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com for about $80 for both. I have a different motor though, so mine may have been a tad cheaper. I don't think the tensioner was very much at all, but I can't remember.

Like I said, with something this vital to your engines life, I just wouldn't skimp on it. Spend the extra dough, and know that it's done right.

I've used OEM and Gatorback belts on my motors w/ no problems on either. I only use OEM pumps, though.

The ProStreetOnline kit is great. I'd go w/ it personally.
