Default B16A auto / manual tranny

Hi all,
Can I just swap the auto to manual tranny but still using the same engine?
Will there be any difference in the engine characteristic?Or is it just a swap and play?

Thanx!

The JDM Auto motor doesn't have dual valve springs on the exhaust side (i could be wrong, i was told this by my a friend). You will have to upgrade them to redline safely at 8k.
