when i starts it it idels hig lieka round 1500 for 2-6 seconds the jumps down to 800, then it starts to sputter and pop act like its going to die. Has exausht leak thou, piping is boke off before the muffler and i noticed a anti freeze leak.

Where is the antifreeze leaking from? You should fix any problems with the car to see if that helps with the idle first.

Most likely it'll be your IACV or you have a vac leak. To test for a leak, spray carb cleaner all around your vac lines, and if your idle jumps, there's your problem. If not, check your IACV, they go quite often and is the cause of a lot of idle problems.

 

leaks from the house goign to radiator, the idels not the problem now the car wont even start so i dont know.

 

well the idel isnt the problem now it wont start at all any help please.

What are the symptoms? Does it crank, does the fuel pump prime, is it getting spark?

 

yes it cranks, yes fuel primes NO Spark so i think its hte dizzy.

Could also be something as simple as plug wires. If you have a spare set or can borrow some and throw em on. Also check your timing, you may need to adjust your distributor timing instead of just replacing it.

 

its not the plug wires i just bought some new b4 it stoped. I think im gonna replace the coil that seems to be a common problem.
