Help with Esuse fog light electrical / wiring
Got a set of NIB Esuse fogs yesterday and tried to install them. I think I have everything connected properly but the lights don't come on.
I have the red wire connected to the three wire harness which is then plugged into the #2 slot in the fuse box.
The white wire is connected to the two wire harness which is then plugged into the #5 slot in the fuse box.
The fog lamp harness is connected to the switch harness.
The fog light switch is connected to the fog light switch plug.
The relay is connected to the relay plug.
I couldn't find the bolt the instructions suggested as a ground so I attached the ground wire to a bolt, with the tip in between the bolt and washer. Is that the right way to do it or does the tip have to be touching what the bolt is bolted to and not the washer?
Here is how I grounded the fog lamp harness (between the bolt and washer):

Any ideas? I went through and checked all the connections and they're all tight.
The wiring is different from the Depo brand, so this has to be Esuse-specific. Thanks.
....and I'd search but it's down.
....and yes I'll clean up the zip ties and whatnot.

connect it to battery and this will tell you if the ground was bad or if it is somewhere else or take like a neon light or a test light and connect the positive to the battery and the ground to desired ground location that will be used to ground the fog lights.

Use a voltmeter. Put the red wire onto a source, then the black onto the crimped part of that connector to see if you get a reading.

Try turning on the foglights with the bumper off the car but the wires still connected. If they turn on while the bumper is off, then it's probably because the metal bracket holding the foglights is touching the car (even though in the OEM Honda version the bracket is bolted into the body).
