Door and Fender removal Del Sol.
The door on my wifes Del Sol got ripped backwards and shattered the glass. Long story short the door got caught on something while the car rolled backwards which of course shattered the glass, sprung the door slightly past 90 degrees, slightly bending the fender, and bent the door brackets.
I have ordered new glass that should be here this week. What I need to figure out is how to get to the door brackets to straighten out the hindges and realign the door so it opens and closes correctly. I know there are only a handfull of bolts to remove the fender which should give me access to the door brackets. However two of those bolts are near the brackets and behind the leading edge of the door and with the door sprung It will not open more than a foot or so before it makes contact and starts bending the fender further.
I can't open the door to get to the bolts and I can't remove the fender to get to the door hindges without opening the door. So unless some one has other ideas The only thing I can think of is opening the door and bending the crap out of the fender.
I had hoped to gently massage the slight bend to the fender once it was off so I could do a little paintless dent repair. If I open the door it will start to not only bend but crease the fender. Once creased I will have little to no luck getting it back straight.
Any ideas?

Re: Door and Fender removal Del Sol. (dwnthehatch)
Driver sid e is the side damaged. PM me details on them and how much you want for them.
Are both sides of the hinge bolted? I have not looked close and was afraid that one side might be welded.
